Backtracking a couple weeks or so... Cosfest was pretty much fun, and if I had the time, I would have stayed longer to see all the lame stuff happening. Well, at least I did catch quite a few of the stage events, Clorith's mischief, and Rika's singing. That's already good enough for me, at any rate. I did manage to catch both sunny and wet weather all in one hour too. XD
Ah... I feel like a matchmaker now. Both Clo and Strife get along so well, it's stunning. And it's also a happy Cleris ending for me too. ^^; Hehehe... though I'd much prefer if Seph or Zack suddenly revived themselves and claimed their uke back. Lol, got influenced by Bao again. Nonononono.
I think this year's FoA is better than the previous one in 2003, simply because it is heavily influenced by anime/manga. :P I knew I had to resort to skipping a few stuff in order to go to the manga demonstration on Tues. There is nothing worse than having PE during first recess, right outside the art room, when the demonstration that you have been dying to attend is happening right at that moment. Sheesh.
Thank goodness there was another one on Tuesday afternoon.
Attendence was alright, save for the fact that sacrifices had to be made, and that I was the only busybody there watching Liu Bei and Brenda work on their random art pieces, while Xue Yi looked for something to scan (for lineart). Hmm. Not much business, is there?
But it was a great time chatting about Cosfest and as far back as Baka Matsuri... and the refusal of giving away Strife's email. Shoots, I'm going to become a notorious stalker-fangirl soon. I can see it already. I'm maligned! There goes my reputation.
FoA friday was great because of the cosplay all around. It would have been much better if there was more participation, but one enthusiastic class per level through 2 to 4 seems rather good. The little Sec 1 juniors just aren't into this kind of thing. I certainly wasn't when I was in sec 1. And I can't forget how I stood in amazement and slight disgust at how pro-yaoi my seniors were. lmao Now I understand. Let's wait til the little juniors grow up then... and pollute their junoirs' minds. XD
Nah, just kidding.
I absolutely loved the Naruto cosplay on Friday! Hehe... it provided further inspiration and determination for me to finish reading Naruto! XD *sends an e-glomp to the Sec 3 and 4 cosplay!Itachi and cosplay!Kakashi* It's too bad that nobody did anyone from FMA (temptation...temptation... >.<) But at least there was one Aeris (which totally shocked me) ^-^ Looks like FFVII fans still exist here!
Well, all those was last week (and even before that), and on with the recent ones.
I've got nothing to say about the past week. It's just work work and more work. There, summarised.
Oh, and of course, not forgetting the huge chunk of Naruto that is supposed to fit in somewhere. <33 Konoha's 4th Hokage!! <33
Today was a little different though, there was CCA CIP today, which meant that we were supposed to help the Nature Society (Singapore) out with a booth at the "Love Your Pets" exhibition/competition thing. Which also meant that I got to see a lot of dogs! oooh... My love for dogs has been suppressed for so long I almost forgot about it! Thank goodness there was today, to uncover all that again! I've got to grow up quickly, and get a dog of my own. Yes! My life goal!
I'm glad to know that most of my doggie knowledge is still there in my brain. I spent about one year or so studying dogs (as my hobby) because I knew I couldn't get one, no matter how hard I tried. Well, if I can't get one, then I shall just try to know as much about them as possible, to prepare myself for that time when I really can have a dog of my own. lol, the knowledge is still there; I picked out the breeds of almost all the dogs I saw today, and I'm pretty sure that I'm right.
There were a few that stunned me though. Erm, perhaps not a few, just that one particular one that looks like an extremely large version of a grey/blue merle pomeranian. After I left, it suddenly occurred to me that it looked like a Schipperke (sp?), but I'm not sure those exist in Singapore. Well, I didn't even know Pembroke Corgis exist in Singapore until I saw one today.
There were Jack Russells, Malteses (many), Shih Tzu (just what you'd expect), pomeranians, poodles (cute!), Chihuahuas, shetland sheepdogs, schnauzers, 1 Pekingese, 1 beautiful husky, 1 German Shephard, 1 English Cocker Spaniel, 1 Pembroke Corgi, 1 super hyperactive Scottish terrier, and a couple of cats. Of course, you just can't miss that mixed breed pups from the Action for Singapore Dogs, April, London and Paris, put up for adoption. They're all so adorable! I especially miss London's soulful eyes. ^-^
Squees for doggies aside, I have to squee for bishies too! *crazy fangirl antics* First, it was footage of LO from the clip of the Ultimate Edition (Advent Pieces). It was quite fangirlitis-indusive by itself, but nothing compared to the Crisis Core trailer. I knew it I knew it I knew it! Yet another one of SE's evil plans! At this rate, I really have to think of a way to
CC
= Aeris + Zack + Cloud + Sephiroth
= ZackAeris + SephCloud!
= pre/during/post-Nibelheim incident story
= bishie and squee overdrive!
It's a dream come true! :P (and why does that looks like some sort of a math equation now? XD )
Now I'm asking for AC and Crisis Core. This fangirl is getting greedier.
