about love and shoes

No heels for me.

Nononononono.

I'll very much prefer to stick to normal shoes now. Even school shoes don't sound too bad. As long as I don't need to walk around for 6 hours and 50 minutes in heels. Darn, it's tiring.

I'd like Jason to know that I bought the entire set of clothes just for his wedding, which was a rather entertaining experience, and "clothes" is also inclusive of shoes. Two formal events in the span of one week gives rise to okenty of complications. For one thing, formals events are quite rare. But having two in a week means money spending, especially for someone like me who doesn't invest in clothes suiting different occasions.

But pettiness aside, the wedding was worth it just for the sake of seeing fellow classmates dress up for the occasion, and to see the bride. :D For some unknown reason, I'm feeling rather joyous as well. Maybe happiness is contagious.

It so happens that there is also NDP rehearsal today, so about two-thirds of the crowd you find on the North-South line around Orchard is actually heading towards City Hall. Imagine the mess at City Hall. Yep, we were in that mess. And so were Clorith, Rika and misc friends. What does that spell? Photoshoot of course! What a pity I couldn't hang around longer to take photos.

The weather today wasn't really suited for photoshoot and NDP rehearsal, unless the rain water decides to speed up rate of evaporation. And that is also partly why if you observe the "heels" of my highheels, you'll stuff that don't belong there. Like grass. >.>

But overall, it was alright. I did survive the shoes crisis, after all.
